Our Team

Mary founded Journals & Ledgers in 2016 and has directed the company growth since taking on our very first client.  She has a strong sense of family, relationships and entrepreneurship, which is evident in our company’s core values and teamwork.  Mary promotes an atmosphere of collaboration to ensure that our clients have peace of mind so they can focus on growing their business and achieving their financial goals.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from George Mason University and is a Certified QuickBooks® ProAdvisor and an AIPB Certified Bookkeeper.  She has 30+ years of experience working with small businesses, non-profit organizations and serving as a volunteer.  When Mary is away from the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, spoiling her granddaughter and taking time away at the beach.

Amanda joined Journals & Ledgers in 2017 as an Account Executive and was the first official employee.  Since that time, she has seen tremendous growth and progress.  She has a love for numbers, enjoys analyzing trends and helping clients understand their financial reports.  Recently, she has taken on the finance and administration leadership role for Journals & Ledgers and will be instrumental in continuing to drive our business success.

She holds an Associate of Science from Troy University.  She is a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and is a Certified QuickBooks® ProAdvisor.  She has a variety of experience in bookkeeping, tax and human resources.  In her free time, Amanda enjoys home decor, traveling and spending family time at the beach.

Suzanne joined Journals & Ledgers in 2018 as an Account Executive.  In addition to her accounting and auditing experience, Suzanne’s managerial, communication and problem-solving skills are key to providing excellent service to her clients.  With her diverse background, she has advanced into the business development role where she enjoys engaging with clients to offer solutions.  In addition, she oversees all sales and marketing efforts as we grow our business.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Illinois and is a Certified QuickBooks® ProAdvisor.  Suzanne has experience in both public and private accounting as well as running her own small business. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and has a gift for cooking.

Katie joined Journals & Ledgers in 2019 as an Account Executive.  She enjoys working with clients in a variety of industries and has a passion for learning.  She prioritizes relationships with her clients and takes pride in having open communication ensuring that they understand their financial reports so they can make solid financial decisions and grow their businesses.

She holds an Associate of Science in Business Administration and is a Certified QuickBooks® ProAdvisor.  She has 15+ years of bookkeeping and small business experience.  She enjoys spending time with her family, going to the beach and cheering on her son at his baseball games.

Caitlin joined Journals & Ledgers in 2020 as an Account Specialist and advanced to the position of Account Executive.  She has a strong aptitude for numbers and great enthusiasm for expanding her accounting knowledge.  She enjoys working with clients so they can make financial decisions with confidence and have a clear understanding of their business.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Georgia Southern University and is a Certified QuickBooks® ProAdvisor. She is actively pursuing a Graduate Certificate in Accountancy from Auburn University.  She enjoys traveling, spending time with her husband and new baby daughter and her two German Shorthaired Pointers.

Sondra joined Journals & Ledgers in 2024 as an Account Specialist serving a variety of small business clients.  She brings enthusiasm to her client’s work.  She enjoys working with numbers, collaborating with a supportive team and building relationships with her clients so they can understand and rely on their financials to make decisions.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Mercer University and is a Certified QuickBooks® ProAdvisor. She enjoys spending time with her family and is an accomplished baker, making delicious sweets and desserts.
